Four Corners of Craft: Etsy exhibition for London Design Festival by lynsay-erin mercer

The London Design Festival is the highlight of the UK design calendar, where the world gathers to celebrate great craft and design. This year, Etsy makes its mark with a selling exhibition of cross-disciplinary contemporary craft on 24-27th September 2015, in partnership with  Crafts Council and Tent London.

We’re excited to announce Four Corners of Craft – a maker development and exhibition project supported by arts and craft organisations in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

From Inverness to Sussex and Belfast to Cardigan, the Etsy community is a highly talented group of designer-makers, creating beautiful contemporary craft across all areas of the UK.Selected via open call with the help of these national and regional arts organisations, we will unite over 40 of these makers in an exhibition to represent craft from the four corners of our country… what ties it all together is the quality of making.

Local artists come to aid of NI Hospice

KPMG heART of HOPE exhibition will boost Adult Hospice rebuild project

 

FAMED Northern Ireland artist Colin Davidson will launch an art exhibition this month along with more than 100 other local artists, in aid of NI Hospice.

Northern Ireland’s largest local charity is set to benefit from contributions from a wide range of talents which include Lisa Ballard, Neil Shawcross, Rita Duffy and Joseph McWilliams, with proceeds from the initiative supporting the new £13m Northern Ireland Adult Hospice project in Belfast.
