Hi there!

Thank you for visiting my website. I am currently updating it.

My most recent work can be found on my Facebook page . It also features in the Irish Arts Review Spring 2024
Volume 41. No. 1. The Article titled
‘Genesis’ was beautifully written by the Art Historian Isabella Evangelisti.

Art, design, architecture and pedagogy continue to provide me with an endless source of inspiration. Over the years I have worked or studied in environments that focus on each subject, to find they are all intrinsically interconnected.

My sculptural work explores the connection between physical sensation and abstract concept; I use textures to invite physical interaction and unusual forms to attract the inquisitive. I aim to provide an experience rather than just an aesthetic.

There is a suggestion of organic functionality in my work.  An alien narrative is present as the objects are reminiscent of other worldly fossils. I like to merge ancient qualities with futuristic, in an attempt to ignite the creative intelligence and imagination of the observer.

“I love the tactile quality of Lynsay Erin’s work, and how the viewer is invited to explore the surfaces and contrasting textures of each piece. The spiky interior of this Artefact is both unexpected and alluring!”
